XTC - Boys Noize - Out Of The Black (2012, Boysnoize Records)

Electro kingpin Boys Noize has one of the craziest schedules you’ll find in the music world. But in between a jam-packed DJ schedule, running a successful record label (Boysnoize Records), and frequent collaborations with the likes of Erol Alkan, he has managed to find the time to finish his third studio album, Out Of The Black.

XTC, the album’s lead single, has been floating around in his sets for a few months now, but is finally getting an official release next Monday. Sporting an unmistakably Boys Noize combination of rough synth lines, driving beats and robotic vocals, XTC’s party-starting, parent-worrying message has already been kicking up a storm in sets from Justice, The Chemical Brothers, Annie Mac and A-Trak. Expect to hear this one in a majority of your clubbing runs over the next few months.
